The X-base is like a key stone among all mid century modern design elements. The X-Base side table is crafted out of solid stainless steel rod. It is welded and polished to form a beautiful single piece mirror looking finish base. Together with 3/4″ thick solid top it forms a stylish looking low profile piece of furniture. Recyclable stainless steel has minimum impact on the environment when it comes to recycling. And the solid oiled finished wood (available in Teak or Acacia) can be recycled as reclaimed wood in many decades from now. This being said this furniture, because of the materials used, is virtually indestractible and requires very little maintenance. Simply wipe the solid wood top with Danish or similar oils to enhance the look and preserve the finish. Available as side or cocktail table. Offered in oil walnut finish. Custom finishes available as a special request.
